Pinchot Gardens
New Arizona Family, Inc.'s (NAFI's) Pinchot Gardens is a residential and addiction recovery program that annually serves about 250 indigent and low-income women and their children. NAFI's Pinchot Gardens continuum of care includes: Substance Abuse Education Recovery programs Counseling(Individual/Group) Childcare Health & Wellness Referral services Support services Nutrition and Education Medication Services and Psychiatric Evaluation Parenting Classes Programs directed toward a healthy and self-sufficient life Educational Tutoring Independent Living Skills Programs include individualized treatment and supportive services directed at improving a woman's ability to live sober. Comprehensive service plans target a variety of interrelated areas that facilitate adaptation to a chemical-free lifestyle and the ability to become a healthy active member of the community.
Pinchot Gardens is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Site services include childcare, laundry, family-style dining, and a protective safe and sober environment to live in while working through recovery goals. Supportive services include housing referrals, independent living skills and educational programs.
Recovery Services Group Counseling Individual Counseling Family Involvement Assistance in Self-Administration of Medication Nursery / childcare service Child Development Educational Tutoring (ILS) Independent Living Skills Childcare Nurturing children and assuring that they have a safe, loving environment in which to live and play is a major priority at the Pinchot Gardens. The nursery houses a kitchen for preparing nutritious snacks, age appropriate sleeping/play rooms, a fenced in outdoor play area.
