SMI & Dual Diagnosis Services

New Arizona Family, Inc.'s (NAFI) has five licensed level II 24-hour co-occurring Behavioral Health Residential facilities located in Phoenix and Mesa. Services and staff are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year.

Located in Maricopa County, the programs provide a safe, therapeutic and structured environment for treatment of adult consumers age 18 and over, who have an extensive history of substance abuse and carry an additional SMI qualified diagnosis (Dual Diagnosis Enhanced), and are in need of intense and supervised treatment. The program will provide counseling, continuous onsite or on-call availability of a behavioral health professional and continuous treatment to individuals who are experiencing a behavioral health issue that limits their independence but are able to participate in all aspects of treatment and to meet the individual's basic physical, psychological, emotional and age-appropriate needs.

All NAFI locations are unlocked facilities, and while it accepts individuals whose participation may be court-ordered, no physical restraint practices are utilized. Comprehensive service plans target a variety of interrelated areas that facilitate adaptation to a chemical-free lifestyle and the ability to become a healthy active member of the community.
